Some very nice towers to break the "riff-raff" of condos. I'm excited for Sao Paulo.

yeah, but come on, São Paulo already has thousands of NICE office towers. It just happens that there are so many condos you basically dont see them. At least these taller towers will be easier to sight!

Is this new Petrobras tower going to replace the old one, designed by Oscar Niemeyer? That building is a masterpiece - even today, it seems cutting-edge.

I dont think so Ardecila. The other one in Rio. The fact is that bulding is SMALL for Petrobras. Petrobras occupies that whole building and at least 5 more buildings in Rio de Janeiro!!

Finally Sao Paulo and even Brazil is getting the world direction in doing a supertall taller than the same stuff of 80m. In Brazil to pass the 150m Mark is quite 'unthinkible' for some stupid political reasons of huge money power behind. Maybe this Petrobras one will get the 420m mark, finally a symbol for Sao Paulo, which still does not have such Tower in the huge ocean of average ones. At first moment I thought Dubai or Shanghai, but then thanks, Sao Paulo could have also a planet direction. Wonderful Glass Tower btw.

The other projects is already known. Some like Rochaverá, Complexo Viário Roberto Marinho and Torre Eldorado have diagram as well. If the Rest some one make the bldg pages request, I could also draw some.

The Torre Berrini is wonderful as well. Let's see if they will really get build or those proposals disappeared with time. Remember Mansao Matarazzo had also in 90ies a 60-storey 40-storey proposal, also from Aflalo & Gasperini but never be brought to reality, cuz the stupid PT Erundina. Even The TV Globo Tower atop Gazeta Fundacao Casper Líbero would be much taller, but then stopped. So, hope not a popcorn again in stove which gets cold after some time....

most of those arent proposals, they are already u/c.

if i decided to post here at SSP all the São Paulo proposals and u/c buildings, it would clog down the forum. Thats why I prefered to post them all here.

yes, tallest nowadays is Mirante do Vale, only 178 meters, built in the 60s/70s. (which itself is only a few meters taller than Banespa, built in 1947)

That's what the City Compilations forum is for.
