As for my favorite picture of "my" city (I'm not there right now but intend to return soon enough), I don't really have one... Except, a night/dusk shot taken from this very same spot would definitely be my favorite. I am not saying the one I am posting is my favorite, I have definitely seen better pictures but couldn't find them. (And that would be weird because I am the one who took it ) But if I ever go back at dusk and take a picture from the same spot, I am afraid my favorite picture of Montreal ever will be a picture I took myself

Moncton Doesn't compare to other large cities, but it does have some beautiful views and is in a beautiful part of New Brunswick...

This has to be one of my favourite shots of the city.

Another nice one is here https://www.flickr.com/photos/drgnma...-npWDpS-9L2hJP

Yes, the marshlands along the Petitcodiac riverbank are expansive and are a great place for wildlife viewing. It's somewhat unique to have such a natural feature at the centre of our city. There are also many good places to view the skyline from the 40km or so of riverfront trails. The perspective of the skyline however tends to be lost without anything (like mountains) to give it contrast. That's why places like Vancouver and Calgary tend to look so gorgeous.

This really reminds me of Winnipeg. People are always calling Winnipeg a mini Montreal and this picture is probably the closest I've seen.

something like a bigger version of these

I had such a hard time picking one photo - Toronto is so large and beautiful that simply one photo can not represent it!

However...

I'm not sure that its the single most beautiful picture of Toronto (it doesn't even include the financial core), but I love this photo lets you almost feel like your there. A warm summer night with on the lake, with the bright and colourful city in the background. Full of activity!

There are so many other photos that are probably more beautiful and deserve to be posted here (am I allowed to link them in this thread? ). However, I really like this photo.

I took this photo quite awhile ago. I don't know why I like it, since you can't really make anything out (to even identify it as Calgary). Calgarian's photo is the best photo of the city that I've seen, but I thought I'd throw this in as the best that I've took .

Some very nice pics all around, my favourite Québec City shot are the ones with those gorgeous nighttime, winter lights!

I really like the Toronto shot with all the colours too....that is cool.

Single most beautiful picture of Ottawa showing the whole CBD skyline at Christmas time. Wish there was an update, clearer version of it.

Single most beautiful picture of Hull, showing the Alexandra (aka Inter-Provincial) Bridge:
