Look at that, a tower AND bus service at the airport. Visitors will have a better first impression of our city. Now, lets work on making the facade modern and continious on the terminal building and we'll have quite the airport

The parkade and pedestrian bridge are nice too -- way better than open surface lots, particularly in the winter.

We're not talking about Heathrow but Halifax's airport is a pretty busy place. It makes sense to have decent amenities at an airport handling millions of passengers per year.

Are they going to have to jack the crane to get the full 14 floors under it. From that angle it looks very tight?

Stopped by on my way back to town yesterday.
I think the crane is coming down today as they were setting up this other big crane.

I'm surprised they went as high as they did while having such a small footprint. Not used to seeing that in these parts, where most new buildings have the dimensions of a parkade.

Dimensions of a parkade might have made sense in this case. Im wondering why they built so high next to an AIRPORT!!!

Looking good! I had kinda expected them to connect it directly to the pedestrian bridge to the terminal, though.

It's not like its in a flight path or anything, and I've certainly seen taller buildings than this built at/near airports.
