Yes, I completely agree! My Pens took down those so-called mighty bruins in their own home shorthanded the other day and then last night was truly a gift, only wish I could of seen Brady cry

May as well shoot for the Russian kid from Sarnia. Nobody's gonna catch CBJ for last spot though, but second last is still up for grabs, which would give the Oilers an 18.8% chance of getting the #1 overall pick. Regardless, after the draft Tambellini should have enough talent or bargaining chips to acquire the right components for a winning hockey team and finally make the playoffs... the Oilers are such a pitiful team that I'm actually starting to root for them.

And to add to their misery after the Super Bowl, Zach Hamill, their first rounder in 2007 has been waived

I know the same could be said for every team but those are some of the best players (that were picked in the 1st round) they could have had...

Zach Hamill: 8th overall pick in 2007
Logan Couture: 9th overall pick in 2007
Lars Eller: 13th overall pick in 2007
Kevin Shattenkirk: 14th overall pick in 2007
Max Pacioretty: 22th overall pick in 2007
David Perron: 26th overall pick in 2007

Sigh. Hagman scoring the shootout winner AGAINST the Flames is just downright painful.

Could he really add any more insult to the injury that was his time as a Flame?!

Isn't that always the way!!! Well, at least he's gone. I don't know what to make of the Flames chances? They just can't seem to win when it counts....much like the last 10 games of last season. If they are to make the playoffs they need to be able to get a win in places like Anaheim.

And we still pay half of his salary.

Disappointing result.

Backlund looked so "uninspired" during his shootout attempt.

Kid needs to add some muscle mass in the off-season if he doesn't want to deal with more injuries later on.

Even Desharnais who is 5'7 (177 lbs) is heavier than RNH (6'1, 175 lbs).

So RNH is essentially the same build as me...yeah, he definitely needs to bulk up a bit then.

Oh my... we actually won a shootout.

Maybe Rene Bourque is the answer to our SO problems... who knows?

BTW- Both Subban and Letang need to grow up.

Another mediocre game by the Canucks... and they win again! Just the exact amount of intensity to get the 2 points. Hope this pays off in the play-offs.

Lil Jon is a Habs fan now??? Well... with the Thrashers gone, he's got a new #1 team. Wearing a Subban jersey of course.

Bleh, awful game. Fast paced for the first 10 minutes, then the 3 games in 4 days caught up to the Leafs and they just slowed down.

On the bright side, Phil Kessel is the 2nd to hit 30 goals!
Though I'm sure 53 games is just a small sample size, and he's bound to stop soon...
