The MetLife building is about only 800 feet so its not necessarily misleading. I bet from some angles this looks massive.

Renderings can definitely play up (or down) a buildings height.

That's true, though when that video first came out the height was at 1,501 ft.

Would love it if they pulled a Chrysler and when it was about 2/3 built they decided to boost it back to the original 1,500 feet. That would make my day...
