That does make sense. I wonder if it means the Welsford location would be spared, though.

What I presumed on the previous page was that, in the event that Irving constructs a new station off of 7 at Exit 80, the Welsford location would either be closed or significantly reduced.

That is what I am saying. No big stop.
From what I am hearing, it will have a NBLCC store, convieniance and gas bar.

Liquor store within stumbling distance? I'm okay with that.

A couple pictures of the Co-op to FoodLand change

Last time I was there that rock was already gone, they wasted no time taking it away.

It looks strange that they just put a tarp type sign over the Co-op one but I'm guessing that's a temporary solution.

Anything new happening in the Valley towns or Grand Bay? This thread has been pretty quiet.

Big Rock Plaza looks to be under construction on Millennium Drive in Quispamsis. Didn't have a chance to snap any pictures as I was driving by, but it looks like it will contain quite a few businesses.Should be interesting which ones end up opening shop there..

Where is this exactly? I have no idea what behind River and Trail means, but if you gave a street name that would help immensely.

Proposal for a 58-unit condo development on Hillcrest Drive in Rothesay consisting of 2 24-unit buildings and 10 garden homes. According to the paper this one's progressing slowly through Council and has been the subject of some NIMBYism.

Queens Buffet has opened their second location in GSJ. The new location is in Fairville Plaza in Rothesay.

From the Rothesay deputy mayor's Facebook page - a 36-unit apartment building is proposed for the corner of Millennium Drive and Donlyn Drive:

Nano Breweries

Well the 3 Nano Breweries in the Valley seem to be holding their own Hammond River Brewing, FogHorn and Longbay. I wonder how many more will spring up ?
