>Detroit Festival of the Arts< -A few photos

Always some interesting scenes at this great Detroit festival.

I give it thumbs up too.

This year's theme is dinosaurs.

Little tator tots learning to cut a rug.

Shorty get down.

The sensei.

It was hot out, mmmkay!

Uncle Sam and an oven mit put on quite the show.

Uhh...

Osadia is an annual favorite.

Applying the hair.

Heh...good luck with that one. I didn't stay to see the end result.

Guarding the big purchase.

This performance was interesting. These two wore their instruments!

Wierded out.

Bjork wanna be.

Talking on the phone with her skirt?

That volcano instrument thing spins the whole time and they are playing it as it spins.

The wtf crowd.

Yah, the guy is in there.

And she goes in after him.

Detroit is one weird-@ssed, rough-@ssed town...and that's why I love her. Great tour, Michi! It's great to see a metro in such turbulent economic times celebrate, regardless of its situation, good or bad.

Thank you for adding some pizzaz to my morning, Michi. Pizzaz. That might be the most impressive sand castle-type thing that I have ever seen.

It's a booby.

The one act I really wanted to see, I ended up missing.

It was called Sau-rus.
