<<<--- Transcontinental Travels "Live" --->>>

This is a thread I will attempt to keep up as I travel. Except the nights when I am camping or something, I will be updating this as I go cross country from Southern California to Boston and back.

If you have travel suggestions, they are welcome:

Today:

Ventura, California ---> Phoenix Arizona.
DAY ONE: US 101 to I-210, CA-210 to I-10: about 425 miles

hazy crappy smoggy typical summer L.A. basin day, buh bye

Passing through San Bernardino

Finally some clear skies, but its 110 and I don't have air conditioning. aaargh, sweating much

Arriving in Phoenix, holding the camera out the window as I go over the I-10 to I-17 overpass

Light rail is coming very soon, station on Central

Better view of downtown

Of course an under construction shot: One Central Park East, a 383' that is the largest u/c in the city at the moment. It is still hot at night.

Now it is absolutely pouring, wow, just dumping down here in Phoenix tonight.

Next stop is camping, so it may be a day or two before another update

DAY ONE: US 101 to I-210, CA-210 to I-10: about 425 miles

I hope you come through the Pittsburgh area, hopefully you'll get here in the Fall season too if you do.
