CALGARY | Kahanoff Expansion | 46.6M / 153FT | 12 Floors

New proposal that has submitted their Development Permit and goes to Calgary's Planning commission next Thursday.

Mostly an office building expansion, but the building will host a Jazz Dance Studio on the second level, that will be home to Calgary's Decidedly Jazz Dance Studio.

Technically it's taller, but yes I know what you mean. 15 or 16 floors would have kicked some ass.

Construction was to start second week of January, and we are middle of February. Has there been a hick-up or are they just off to a slow start?

Hold ups seem to be pretty common with construction startups. Let's hope we see some action on this one sometime this spring.

I didn't even know they had started driving piles. Good progress.

I'm very happy to see this one moving along. It's not a big one, but it's a really good one.

Tower crane is now up. I also noticed that the excavator was shovelling gravel into the hole, so we should see some action soon.
