Nice, MJ. How close to top-out on this one? 2 floors? 1 floor?

As I was driving down I-95 from the north east today, this tower looks like its more or less the same height as its neighbors to the west. I seem to remember that this was the plan; if so, then its near or at its top.

That's correct. Penn Mutual Tower (neighbor) is 375 ft and 500 Walnut is going to be 380 ft. So I would guess only one more story.

Roof level is being formed now and scheduled to pour in the next couple of days..after that pour, all that will be left are the mechanical penthouse/elevator machine room floor and roof in early January...crane will be removed in late January/early February, as it is needed to lift rooftop mechanical and elevator equipment, along with the BMU (building maintenance unit used for window cleaning, etc.-similar to the unit on top of Cira or other high-rises)..

I wish I liked this more. That gap between the buildings is just so odd looking.

It is a little odd looking, but it's a dense city and close buildings should be expected. This build is more symbolic for me...these condos are ultra luxury, it puts Philly a big step towards that 'prestigious' title other US cities already have.

Can anyone tell, from the angled view, which unit would match up with the blank space in the neighboring wall? Im thinking its unit #21. This is keeping in mind this building probably goes from unit #12 to unit #14 at the setback.

I am wondering if this unit has a higher price because of the privacy afforded by no windows directly across from it.

For sure units 18+ have higher prices just because they will be able to see over the building across 5th street.

There aren't any windows on the west elevation which is where the elevator and stair core is located..therefore, none of the condo owners will face the neighboring office building.....office occupants on the neighboring building will view a combination of metal panels and painted/articulated concrete core...

Yes, but the first number of floors are amenity floors and then some of the units on other lower floors are half floor or 3/4 floor units anyway. I'm not sure where the first full floor unit starts.

The full floor units start on the 13th floor, after the building steps in...The 13th floor unit has a fabulous terrace on its north side (over the 12th floor)...

Very nice. Must be one of the choicest units aside from the penthouse then.

In 20 years most of these residents will need to plug their car in. This style of garage tho...
