Building Above a Road?

Does any have any pictures of a building that goes 1-2 stories above a road? I mean a pretty large road, something like 4 lanes wide. Hopefully you guys understand what I'm talking about.

I get what your saying....you want to know if there are any buildings that start on seperate blocks, but connect above a road in between.

And the answer, is yes, I believe.

Or maybe even a building that exists almost entirely above a road. I've seen plenty above 2 lane roads but nothing 4 lanes wide. Anyone have any pictures?

Austin has at least one in downtown that I know of. The federal building has at least 2 floors that straddle 8th Street. Of course since 9/11, 8th Street has been closed to cars. The City has been pressuring the GSA to move those offices to a new federal courthouse that is in the works. They would then like to see the old building demolished and the site redeveloped with 8th Street reopened.

Lots of places have buildings over railroads:

A whole new neighborhood is being proposed to be built over a rail yard in San Francisco:

New York is doing the same at Hudson Yards:

And Paris has already done it:

The Dallas Convention Center has a road as well as a light rail station underneath it. I couldnt find any exterior pics showing the road.

In Portland, there was a proposal by the former mayor to cap a couple miles of I-405 with parks and buildings.

The cross Bronx goes under 4 apart towers crossing upper manhattan. 12 lanes wide. The FDR Drive goes under several towers too including the UN complex. Its 6 lanes. No pic on me.
