Yes, we'd love to have you. But I don't pay attention when I buy a ticket...

You can just take the subway to the World Trade Center station and transfer to the PATH which will take you over to Hoboken. It's $2.25 for the subway and $2.00 for PATH. You can use the Metrocard for the PATH system as well. I have been to the World Trade Center, but never went over to New Jersey.

I will admit, I've avoided the WTC entirely since the reconstruction -- just too depressing for me.

I applaud you guys who take the time to photograph the progress -- it's painful to know how many innocent lives were lost on that horrible day.

Last time I used the machines at the WTC PATH terminal it gave me Sacagawea dollars for change. I had not seen those for years.

Being from North Dakota I thought it was hilarious.

^^^ I am not sure but I think the 33rd St PATH would give you a direct ride to Hoboken (don't have to make any transfers)? I *just* did the WTC PATH the other day so I could go to Hoboken and had to transfer at Newark to get there

But yes. Some really nice views of 1 WTC from Hoboken! I wish I would have had time to go into Jersey City - the recently posted pics are AMAZING.

or take the Journal Square PATH from 33rd st and change at Pavonia/Newport for the WTC train, then get off at Exchange Place and you'll be right where that pic was taken.

The building would be open, but the observation deck won't. It won't open till June.

You expect to see that in either the Dakotas or Montana, but New York and New Jersey?

I've never received dollar coins from the regular MTA machines, CTA machines, or DC Metro machines. Maybe I'm just lucky. It isn't a huge deal, but it was a bit of a surprise since they aren't really in circulation in my part of the country.

Anyway, I think I've driven stuff of course enough. Back to 1 WTC. No new steel yet, right? Looks like I just caught them hauling up some more stairs to attach to the side of the tower on the earthcam.

^We're in the same dilemma we were a few months ago, glass panels aren't installed on the side because the stairs haven't been raised.
