Damn! Awesome picture. I didn't think I'd like the "FMC" at the top, but it really makes the building stand out. It sort of breaks the monotony of the "all-glass" design and shakes up the color a little bit. Truly a gem!

Anyone know when the crane is going down?

Surprised they didn't install the letters on the opposite side to catch all the traffic coming up 76 from the airport before the 676 exit. So instead, it's visible from the east bound approach (where I come from).

Here's my stance on corporate signage: I don't love it, I don't hate it. But when Comcast, the city's number one corporate tenant with two giant buildings (and a third on the way???) forgoes adding their corporate logo to their buildings, seeing other companies do it rubs me the wrong way, a little bit. And it's not as if Comcast moved into existing or historic buildings; they built both towers from scratch (almost) exclusively for their own use. If ANYONE in this city deserves to slap a logo on their building, it's Comcast and the fact that they don't sets a precedent for others that I think should be followed.

But I have to admit - and maybe it's because our eyes were trained from the very beginning - but the FMC logo doesn't look too bad here.

The logo is on both sides (also as seen in the FMC thread thumbnail).

Nope, can't tell--I can only see what's visible on the webcam right now.

I know, that's sad. I wrote to the person that is supposedly in charge of the website. I asked if they could position the camera just a little north. I never got a response, and actually I wrote again, still nothing. Oh well. The only one that shows the whole building is the Riverside Dranoff cam. That was the one you had posted a long while back. Thanks for that bro.

And you can zoom in on that Riverside cam to get an even better look at FMC.

Looks like they've been gradually lowering the crane a bit over the last several days. Drove up the Schuylkill this morning and the cab is now completely below the "FMC" letters.
