I hope so!

If anyone feels the need to amend or play around with it for the own enjoyment - feel free.

Missing a few more than I was - but I like the angle! (Would have been nice if the proposal on King and Clarence hadn't been killed by the transit hub speculation)

Good story worthy of mention on virtual reality video concerning future of London's downtown skyline.

Had forgotten that Campeau had proposed a 27s office tower originally with the mall. It's unlikely we will see a high rise office tower built in London given current trends in office space and things like telework. Only growth in office space going forward is likely to be the small boutique reno projects that draw small tech companies. Lucky for us we have a number old buildings downtown and Dundas east that are good candidates for retro fits to offices.

Hey guys, I'm working on some future skyline stuff for London! I live in Windsor, but there's nothing major going on down here, so I decided to revive this thread and work on a model of London along with my Mississauga and Niagara Falls models.

As of now, I've only got a few developments placed into Google Earth, but I'm going to be adding much more. As I go along, feel free to let me know of any that I am missing!

So far I've got:
100 Fullarton
515 Richmond
131 King
391 South
84-86 St. George

Nice job. There's also the Azure at Dufferin and Talbot and Riverwalk at 40 York.

Updated the skyline with more models! This has definitely been a fun little weekend project. I plan to extend beyond the general downtown area next. So far, I've got:

40 York
84-86 St. George
100 Fullarton
131 King
147 Wellington
195 Dundas
391 South
505 Talbot
515 Richmond
556 Wellington

Great work. If those still in the proposal stage come through, it's going to really start looking like a nice downtown.

I think it's honestly only a matter of time before more proposals start flooding in. Evidently, the demand for the construction exists in London, considering a good number of these are in prep or U/C already.

When making these renderings, do you insert the buildings into a map then pan around to different angles? Or do you draw the buildings into each view?

I insert them into Google Earth and I pan around in the 3D mode to get all the views. I draw and geolocate them using SketchUp, and then export them as .kmz files for use in Google Earth.

Thanks. If you still have things setup, can you do a view of the skyline from Labatt Park? Kind of like this one:
