They chopped it's crown off! I really liked it. Putting a huge helipad on top of the town's biggest tower seems really cliche on an otherwise sleek looking boxy skyscraper.

oh no. that is too bad! I wonder why? Maybe no one told them that they liked it or maybe they got worried it would be damaged by the passing helicopters. they might be keeping it in a basement somewhere.

looking at that first rendering, it seems as though Chongqing is getting their very own Empire State Building!

and they used an american skyline stock image...

the tower in that render is beautiful. it looks old school new york/Chicago. tall and slender with all the right massing, very nice skyscraper.

Completed. Final height is 287M, which means this one is not a supertall.
