Gorgeous city!

Why are the streetcars so haggard though?

They have a combination of old fleet and new fleet, I guess the old fleet still work well so no point in removing them from circulation.

The Barcode Project does look gorgeous, apparently amazingly compact and showing some nice materials, that's handsome. I totally love it, only wondering whether it'd be mixed-use enough and what it actually feels like right on the spot, along its streets if there's even anything feeling like a street right there. It seems so, but it also looks like 1st floors are closed, with no shops nor stuff. A pity, that'd be the only mistake to me when we're struggling to implement some mixed-use programs in la Défense in particular over here.

That said, I guess today feels better than yesterday over there, which is obviously positive.

Yep. Well, they've got quite a bit of oil for such a small nation, and they're no member of the EU yet. lol

Well done! Looks like you got to see a bit of Sentrum, Bjorvika/Barcode, and Frogner. Did you make it to Grünerløkka, or any of the other, popular neighborhoods?

The older trams - which date from 1982 - are still around because the newer trams were found to have been too heavy for some of the streets/pavements. They were also found to have had too large of a turn radius for some of the tram lines in the city, as well as problems with the articulated wagons and joints in the vehicles themselves. New trams should enter the fleet sometime around 2022 at the latest
