Great thread, neat perspectives. Any other paddling adventures planned? Pittsburgh would be pretty sweet.

on the horizon:

the lakes of madison - hopefully i can find a free weekend in august or september, my summer has been very busy.



other places on my wish list:

- circumnavigation of manhattan
- detroit river and river rouge
- boston harbor and the river charles
- cleveland's cuyahoga river
- pittsburgh's 3 rivers would be wicked awesome as well

such a different way to see the city. Ever dropped the camera in the water? That would suck.

Cincinnati is one of those places that looks interesting, but I can't seem to find a reason to go there.

Love the unique perspectives as always...

We wouldn't want you anyway so stay away!

Dan, another river you might enjoy is the Kanawha in West Virginia, not too far from Columbus. Stunning scenery.

not yet, though i suppose it's only a matter of time if i keep doing these kinds of photo tours. perhaps i should investigate getting a small waterproof point and shoot. my little panaosnic lumix hasn't been quite the same anyway ever since i accidentally dropped it on the street while shooting in aurora, IL.
