Most days it is, but we are heading into a highwater period with the snow pack melting. Late July and August are the best times since the water is quite low and clear.

Use the attached link and watch the water levels. Click in the 28 recording locations on the NS basin , I watch what happens on the Brazeau and upstream of Rockie to determine if the weekend river conditions will be good. Rockie is usually 3 days before it reaches us.

That pole just southeast of Renaissance Place on Rossdale Road must be around 50 metres tall. I wonder why it has to be so tall? At that height, it will be very evident in the skyline.

I'm more concerned about this pole being embedded in the middle of the road. I predict that some jerk-off will crash into it.
