Awesome first round.

It will be nice to see TSN and Sportsnet have to concentrate on something other than the leafs.

Flames continue to be stuck in a vortex of mediocrity. Oilers have just as many playoff series wins since 2006/2007 despite a decade of flames fans and their delusions of superiority.

St louis....you'll always be my second team. I whish you guys all the best until we hopefully meet in the western final.

It's more fun when we hate each other. But, then again, it's such a fun team to watch, I would understand why you cant resist.

Really impressed with the Leafs, they held in there really well with a very strong team, going to be in the playoffs for many years to come I think.
Go Oilers! I don't hate any team as much as I do Anaheim. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Besides, I give them a one year pass. I'll root for them until we go head to head with them.

Lehkonen, Gallagher and Markov should also be kept as well but the rest is good to go.

But NOT BEFORE BERGEVIN GTFO!

Half of Montreal is passionately cheering for Nashville at the moment (including myself). Who knows, if Markov isn't resigned and Bergevin is back I might not even bother with these clowns. Nashville will become my only team.

You gotta go with the Oilers, the Ducks are the only team out there I hate more then the Sens.

No one likes the Ducks, good to know!

My predictions for the second round. Ducks in 7, Nashville in 6, Rangers in 6 and Pens in 7. Edmonton will provide a better matchup against the Ducks than the Flames did, but Anaheim's experience will prevail. I'd love to see Ottawa get past the Rangers, but if Lundqvist plays as good as he did against Montreal, Ottawa doesn't stand a chance. The Washington - Pittsburgh series should be good, I think Washington is better on paper, but they tend to choke. Nashville is a beast right now, I think they will win the west.

My allegiance is obviously with Ottawa first and foremost. If we fall, I'm going with Edmonton first, Nashville second (captain is former Senator Mike Fisher and I respect Suban for his continued commitment to Montreal's Children's Hospital).

After that, I respect the Rangers and Capitals. Neutral towards St-Louis. Absolutely hate the Cry Baby Crosby and his Penguins. Hate Anaheim even more.

Predictions, Ottawa in 6, Penguins in 5, Edmonton in 6, Nashville in 5. Ottawa success strongly depends on Karlsson's health.

1) They're goons
2) They're a former Disney team
3) They have horseshoes up their asses
4) Ryan Getzlaf's face
5) Cory Perry's bullshit
6) Ryan Kesler
7) Kevin Bieksa
8) Randy Carlisle
9) They're out of fucking Anaheim

And finally this video which illustrates in one moment why I loathe them so much:

Yeah, but you're from Calgary.

Although the whole Disney history was pretty stupid, I'm a big Emilio Estevez fan, so I can't totally hate them.

Love how many jerseys are being worn to work in Downtown Edmonton.

Oilers in 6.

My predictions for this round:

Rangers in 6
Capitals in 7
Nashville in 6
Ducks in 6 (but if it goes to 7 then I change to the Oilers ...god forbid!)

I can't see the Capitals beating the Penguins. They barely beat a Leaf team full of rookies.

I'm being generous to Washington to predict the Penguins will take it in 6 games.

Amazing game! The Preds are still undefeated.

My boy Subban went into his usual playoffs beast mode.

Hopefully Fiala does not have a career ending injury. That was NASTY!

Oilers win the first game.

McDavid didn't even have to score - just him being on the ice drew penalties and psyched out the Ducks' defense so much that it left Draisaitl (4 points tonight) open to do whatever the hell he wanted.

Was wondering if Anaheim would get tunnel vision like that, they kept on Johnny Gaudreau pretty hard in our series and it left Monahan wide open. Looks like they were 5x worse with McDavid and Draisaitl last night. Man that series is going to be NASTY too!
