That was me, although I may have been too hasty, on second look that seems to be some rebar poking out of the ground.

Can someone in Calgary confirm the foundation/piling work has begun?

^I agree. It'd be nice if it was around 30 floors.....of course TallBob's probably wishing it was 50 floors

Surreal: Yes! However, considerring the area, 40 would be about it! Don't get me wrong I'm glad even in this financial environment, that this many projects going up is a good sign. I just wish a couple developers would get some "Balls" and build a few towers around 50!

Even 40 would be pushing it for that location. I'd love to see a 50 something res tower along the tracks or east Beltline.
