A $100 million mixed use development called ONE was announced for downtown Greenville yesterday. It is the largest investment ever for the downtown area: http://www.onegreenville.com/ News story: http://www.wyff4.com/news/28005942/detail.html It will consist of three phases-

Phase I: nine story mixed-use building anchored by CertusBank headquarters, Anthropologie and Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A

Phase II: Eleven story mixed-use building

Phase III: 15-25 story signature highrise

Phase I will start construction in July 2011 and be complete in mid-late 2012. Phase II is slated to start construction sometime between July-December 2011 (dependent on tenant negotiations) with completion in 2013. Phase III will be built at a future date after phase I/II are complete and enough tenants have signed on to warrant it. Phase II and III buildings are still being designed at this time so no renderings for those are available. All financing is complete so there will be no delays with this project.

Very very exciting news! I can't wait to see this go up!
It's not on the former Woolworth site, is it?

Sorry, I should have read the newspaper article before I posted. It will indeed be the old Woolworth site. Great news!

And you thought downtown was booming: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-relea...133957523.html How about 1,400 new jobs and a regional headquarters from TD Bank.

Holy Dang, I had no idea that Greenville was coming along so fast! It's looking great though. Next time I drive through the area, I'm going to have to get off the interstate and look around
