Down to the level of which games are played in the selected host cities?

The United Bid would have proposed the schedule for their own World Cup bid, so yes. The schedule being posted isn't FIFA's recommendation, it's the proposed schedule created by the United Bid.

So groups of three means each Canadian city will be home base for all the games of a first ground group? Right?

Holy crap...Mexico's beating Germany, first Portugal, Argentina, now this. Entertaining tournament so far!

P.S. Apparently the opening day games will be in LA, Mexico City and Toronto. So we're likely getting a Canada game and all 3 nations will probably automatically qualify for the tournament.

No. Different group games each time.

Germany was never going to repeat and win this year anyways.

So that means CAN1 on that list is Toronto, meaning Toronto has the round of 16 game as well. Where did you hear this?
