For a while I wondered what this strange looking building might be...

^^ It's really funny, you get to see both buildings only from this perspective. Further down the road both disappear behind villas along the road and it took me quite a while (like weeks) to realize that it is a breed of two buildings in JLT and Marina

I love this tower so so much! It's such a clean and elegant design! Isn't there supposed to be a lake around this tower? It's going to look amazing once it's filled.

Of all of the Dubai skyscrapers this may be my new favorite. It somehow escaped my radar until now, but this building looks like two completely different, but equally gorgeous, building depending on how you look at it.

I have to say, some of those pictures with riverfront high-rises reminds me a little of Chicago.

I think that if the Marina also had some office towers and some less odd-shaped buildings it would have one of the best skylines in the world. Like Canary Wharf and some La Defense in there. But these short residential towers make Almas look out of place. At least they make the tower look better!

When are they expecting to fill that lake up? It's going to compliment the design of this tower.

imho the most beautiful tower put up in the past year or two, it reminds me of cheiftly (cheifly?) tower in sydney, which i also love, hands down the best design in dubai, i especially like the way the triangles at the bottom point up and out, its just wonderful
