SA: Power Center Planned for Leon Springs?

Does anyone know anything about this development? It says it'll be just south of Rialto Village and across 10 from an high-end center.

FYI, the description 'Mixed Use - Possible Hosp' that's right under the word Ridge in Crown Ridge is the 400 acre mixed-use development Cresta Bella.

They need to start building a proper interchange at 1604 and I-10 now.

Are there any plans for that in the works?

Yes, but it'll be a tolled interchange.

I agree, I have a George Carlin mentality towards marketing, however does anyone know what the planned developments are?

The question has been answered, as it stands now, it looks like it'll be a 800,000-900,000 square foot retail.

We should have BRT or Commuter Rail running up that way, there are a TON of people living there, and it would be lovely if they worked downtown

Question

so this "power center" is IN ADDITION to Rialto Village?! I mean, is there even enough room there for 800,000 ft of retail??? In either case there better be some immediate plans to fix the road structure at Ralph Fair and Boerne Stage Road, as it is now the congestion is a nightmare.

I believe it is going under expansion current, a new overpass is being built.

That's the worst map ever. If I had someone on staff that produced that, I'd can 'em. They're trying to entice me into something (shopping somewhere, building somewhere, leasing somewhere) and they cant spend the 15 seconds it takes to look up online to see that 'Crownridge' is actually one word. Also, I think using "Downtown" in Leon Springs is a misnomer, cause where would the Leon Springs 'suburbs' be located? Maybe they're trying to be funny or tounge-in-cheek, but humor, needs to be really subtle, or really overt. Dont ever want anyone looking at your marketing piece and thinking, "Did they mean that, or was it a mistake?" Cause usually, if they meant it, and people dont laugh outright, it just wasnt funny.

I also appreciate their seemingly random use of caps in the 'Planned High End strip center' phrase, as well as the completely wrong location for UTSA, and abbreviation of the Westin's actual property name. Maybe I'm being a bit picky, but either cut out some landmarks that arent necessary (like Eisenhower Park), decrease the scope of your map to make more room, or use a smaller font, but for pete's sake, don't just randomly abbreviate, use incorrect names and locations.

If this map was done by a poster and wasnt intended for commercial use, I apologize. In that regard it is adequite. But if does have a commercial use and someone wants me to drop $1,500,000 on a building but they cant look stuff up... makes me think they arent professional and what else cant they look up....

Yeah, we have no idea where this map came from.

I did post a comment about marketing because of the use of phrases like "power center" and I especially liked "High-end strip center". When I see/hear strip center the last thing that comes to mind is "high end"
"what, does it have a clock tower on one side?"

Ha, the location on the map for UTSA is EXACTLY where my parents' house is. EXACTLY.

I found a rendering of The Boardwalk at Leon Springs.

I haven't been in this area in quite some time but I believe this has already been built.
