Linden Hills, Minneapolis

Linden Hills is an upper-class neighborhood situated next to two large lakes. You'll notice that it's very white (about 94% and only 1% black) and is probably most similar to Hyde Park, Coventry Heights, and Grandview Heights for Ohio equivalents. There is another little business district ten blocks west, but my feet are still tender from all the walking I've done and it doesn't look as nice the main one anyway.

Off to the lake two blocks east...

A pretty & comfortable neighborhood. It reminds me of Melrose, MA (suburban Boston) where I live. Is Linden Hills a suburb or part of the city?

Nice pics! Very close to where I grew up. Linden Hills is a neighborhood in Minneapolis...it is on the edge of the city limits though. It borders the suburbs of Edina and St. Louis Park.

Welcome to my neighborhood, Columbusite!! I'm impressed with your threads--you're really good at hoofing it around the city!

You should look into the Nice Ride bikes--that way you can cover more ground and spare your feet

Linden Hills is a nice neighborhood. I never photograph it and tend to forget it exists though because it isn't easily accessable by transit.
