City Lights

A break from my usual threads. While I usually shoot people and their interaction within a city or place I also like me a city shot here and there. I thought I'd put up some photos of city lights from my travels :

Tokyo, Japan

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Jakarta, Indonesia

Singapore, Singapore?

New York, USA

Allahabad, India

Pyongyang, DPRK

Shanghai, China

Dalian, China

Seoul, South Korea

Havana, Cuba

Paris, France

Edinburgh, Scotland

La Paz, Bolivia

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Hong Kong, China

Hanoi, Vietnam

Denver, USA

Spectacular nighttime city shots! Thanks for sharing.

The last one, of Denver, is amazing with that lightning in the background and that stormy sky. This´s my favourite, though it´s difficult to choose...

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Denver looks kind of dinky compare to some of the other cities you posted.

I was trying to pick a favorite, but just can't. Too much good.
This thread could be a book all it's own.

Pyongyang looks like a Toronto suburb there.

These pictures are absolutely EPIC! Hands down the picture of Rio is the best one. Truly amazing with the mountains, oceans, beaches and clouds. I must visit there someday.

Did anyone else notice that giant Jesus statue on top of the mountain in the upper right hand corner?

Thanks all. The Rio one is my favorite too. I lucked out with my timing. It had been raining for a solid week prior to my arrival in the city. The day I went up to sugar loaf was clear and the long rains had washed all the pollution out of the air making it incredibly crisp. Definitely could use some more shots of US cities.
