Very cool and the Matrix like on the ceiling, except words were spelled and not just random scrolling letters.

The scrolling words at CTC are the work of artist Jenny Holzer, who has been doing mostly digital word art forever.

Took a bunch of pics from inside the Lobby and the Vernick cafe if you want to take a look-see...

This is so cool! Do you do this for other buildings?

No, I do not, though I do make more visuals for other towers. I made that because I wanted to show the process of its construction. I'm mostly focused on this building than the dozens I'm following around the world. This tower should be 100% complete by Spring 2019 and W Element Hotel should be complete in July 2019

From today. Was bummed the coffee bar and lobby wasn't opened when I showed up around 4pm. Was able to see a little of the digital art from outside, but missed the sphere and the tetrahedron. Try another time.

It's only open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. I stopped by around 10 a.m. last Friday and it was busy which was good to see.

Love all the pics. Wondering, is there something inside the sphere? or is it simply a work of art?

I love the lobby. I bet the text art on the ceiling is by Jenny Holzer. I saw some of her work at the Fort Worth Modern.

A chef at the coffee bar said that Comcast is being very tight-lipped about the sphere. But my guess, probably some kind of media display; kind of a counterpoint to the huge video wall in Comcast 1.

Correct, it is. There's a link a little ways back in the thread.

My guess is that it opens up or moves on hydraulics.
