"An affiliate of Atlanta-based Peachtree Hotel Group paid $3.75 million for the nearly one-acre site at 17th Street and Atlantic Drive, according to Fulton County property records. The deal closed Oct. 1.
The site is a gap along Atlantic Station’s three-story parking deck, sandwiched between the Twelve Midtown hotel and the BB&T Tower.
It’s unclear what Peachtree Hotel Group is planning for the site. Atlanta Business Chronicle reached out to three of the company’s executives, but didn’t immediately hear back.
Peachtree Hotel Group’s portfolio includes several metro Atlanta hotels, such as a Hotel Indigo in College Park, Homewood Suites in Buckhead and Hyatt Place in Perimeter Center, according to its website."

I hope they build a hotel (or something) worthy of that site. Not some cheap under-whelming carbon copy design like what they did with the Hard-Rock Hotel. Hopefully a building that will “bring something to the table” so to speak!

55 acres next to the kudzu trail sold to QTS. No specific plans announced, although they’ve already filed for a large data center in the same proximity

Land Development for 8-West was filed today. So this appears to be moving forward.

Maybe there's finally some movement on 1105 West Peachtree? These were filed the other day (in a bit of a strange place to file permits), so not sure how valid they are...but it appears the parcels are still owned by the prior owner so maybe Selig cannot file but want to start the process prior to closing? Not sure exactly how that works or what is going on here..

I thought Selig already owned this lot. I remember seeing the sign about Selig leasing the property before they demoed the buildings on the site. How were they able to demo the buildings then if they don't own the property?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe Selig does own the entire block. They purchased it in 3/2017 for $14 millon.
