PHOENIX | Wachovia Tower | 385 FT / 117 M | 27 FLOORS

Tower is part of Phase I of a larger project but also included in Phase I is all the 2-4 story buildings on the two city blocks. Phase II will be the neighboring Hotel Palomar/condo tower.
The other two towers are later phases, on an "if necessary" basis.

oh wow, I had no idea about this. From the pics I am assuming this site is what used to be that big parking lot right in the middle of downtown..... all I can say is Finally!!!

If I am laying this out correctly, the smaller buildings are on the site of patriots park, and phase 2 replaces that parking garage across from the suns arena...

Here is the site plan...

The second picture shows the initial plan, which has been scaled down. The right most block is on hold for who knows how long. Right now the middle and left most blocks are moving forward but the towers on those blocks have been scaled down from 30 floors to 27 floors (office) and 44 floors to 36 floors (hotel/condo).

I really like the look of this building.

Shouldn't this building be moved to the midrise section though to avoid confusion?

The building is nearly topped out with 27 floors completed, all that's left is the mechanical screening.

Great shot! And a great addition to the Phoenix skyline. Is that another relatively new tower on the far right of that picture?

The tower is nearly finished and is now going to be called The Alliance Bank Tower. It was topped out last year and construction is almost complete.

Did we ever get a final height figure? Last height from the drawings we got was 368' but I know the crown got revised a couple times during construction.
