Carlos your clock is wrong. It's 2:42 PM not 3:35 PM. You went to the future again .

The corners come together directly under the communications ring, not 40 feet below, IE there will still be some non tapered facade at the roof level.

Carlos: The scaffolding you can see the top of it at the foot of the crane in this post before it was jumped up.

You're right, though your statement has no relation with the rendering quoted since the curtain wall is not displayed. Structural corners are located at the roof slab.

Hey Carlos, you made a mistake in your watermark. Unless you took it an hour into the future, it should be 2:35!

Looking at Oties Diagram, i don't see a 93- 97th floor.

So are those floors there?

They simply don't exist. As well as 7 through 19.

This tower will be one of the greatest ever built in our time, despite not having the WTB title. The Old WTC didn't have it for long either, but that doesn't make the iconic status any less. This will be even more famous than the Burj Khalifa when it's completed and will encourage us to build taller often when necessary.

^ To show how iconic this building is... About 8 million people live in NYC, and about less than 3 million know that a NEW WTC is even being built.

They will know. If they heard of 9/11 and even saw the events occur, one of these days when those New Yorkers are driving in the Brooklyn Bridge or are about to come back to the city by passing New Jersey, they will see that something is different in the Lower Manhattan skyline. And Hollywood will just spread the news like wildfire as well. Yep, 1 WTC is going to be bigger news when all is said and done. Not news everyone will know, but it will be known more in the future than now.
