where is that?

and a lot of the acts have dropped out - marina and the diamonds was supposed to do the vancouver show but she is not here - on last.fm it says she is at an itunes thing iin the uk the same day

Britney's coming to Vancouver

The Britney Spears show is coming to four Canadian cities this summer: Vancouver, Winnipeg, Montreal and Toronto.

So, feel like celebrating Canada Day with Britney Spears? Should you be in Vancouver July 1, it's an option. Spears announced the details of the summer tour Tuesday on Good Morning America. Her seventh studio disc, Femme Fatale, was also released Tuesday.

The trek, which begins June 17 in Sacramento, Calif., reaches Winnipeg on July 4, Montreal on Aug. 11 and Toronto on Aug. 13. Further shows are expected to be added to the 26-date itinerary, Billboard reports.

I saw Fitz and the Tantrums at Venue tonight; awesome show!

They put on a hell of a show and their saxophonist somehow played two saxophones at the same time (!) during one song. They were clearly having a blast and went it was all over they went down to the merch area and autographed things, sold merch, and talked to people. It was their first time playing Vancouver and so it was great to see the place packed and enthusiastic.

They saved their big breakout hit 'money grabber' for the encore finale.

Hrm. I went to her Sticky & Sweet tour at BC Place because I figured it would be her last time in Vancouver. It seems like that was just before the BC Place reno's started, but I just checked the calendar, and it's been 4 years since that concert! LOL. How time flies.
