I was in Weehawken on business this past Monday and the view of this development from the waterfront is unreal … and to think an additional half of those rail yards is yet to be developed. Aside from HY, the sheer mass of Midtown from that vantage point was impressive. Definitely recommend taking the NY Waterway to Lincoln Harbor or Hoboken … you will greatly appreciate the views from across the Hudson.

I had to use the ferry many days during the so called "summer of hell". It was a very nice and relaxing way to come into the city. And of course, the view.

What a massive building.
What is the most massive building in NYC and where will this one rank?

For its size, 1 Vanderbilt still holds less space than the ESB, and can't hold a candle to 1 WTC or Metlife.

30 Hudson will be comparable to 1 WTC and ESB in terms of how much floor space it has.

Now that I'm thinking about it I believe 55 Water in downtown in terms of raw square footage is the largest. So I mean in terms of largest, minus the height but keeping the bulk, 55 Water wins. Even more than Metlife, which is massive.

Be. He. Moth.

I also detect that it seems to have surpassed its "smaller" counterpart.

It can't be too much longer until this reaches its final setback. Very exciting to see these mammoth proportions pan out as the tower grows.
