Draw some stuff like Oracle or IBM, it's the serious thing.
Microsoft is the 3rd largest tech company in the world after Apple and Samsung. They're way bigger than IBM and Oracle. We'll happily take them.

I studied operating systems, detailed algorithmic and the basics of telecommunication networks in college. And my grades were quite ok...
I am sorry, but the bigger doesn't necessarily means the better. In this particular case, it certainly doesn't.

Now I wish the best for you guys. That's only what I mean. Now you deal with Microsoft for now (good luck) and you keep what I said in mind, plz.

Well, bigger means more jobs. And they do more than Windows these days.

Super. I'll keep that in mind. When IBM or Oracle come and ask me if they can locate in St. Louis I won't turn them away. Until then I'm happy that Microsoft is bringing more jobs to the city. Thanks for your concern.

IBM has a very large operation in St. Louis (suburban Hazelwood) for Unix and Linux. Oracle has a large field office in suburban Chesterfield.

^ Thank you.

Oracle is the greatest database designer ever, also involved in good hardware now, and IBM may have dropped some general public projects of theirs, they keep on doing some good work on AI.

These are regarded as fine innovative companies here in France. And even generous! I know some kids here who could travel in the US thanks to IBM. I feel emotional when I think about it.
Microsoft, Samsung or even Apple... Not so much.
Just saying.

Quote:
The St. Louis Cardinals announced Friday that they will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking event for the $260 million second phase of Ballpark Village on Dec. 14.

The Business Journal reported Thursday that the Cardinals, along with their development partner Cordish Cos., applied for a $6.2 million building permit to begin construction on the apartment portion of the $260 million second phase of Ballpark Village in mid-November.

Compton Hill Apartments Moving Forward

by Greg Johnson at NEXTSTL

https://nextstl.com/2017/12/compton-...oving-forward/

Quote:
After a lengthy process of approvals, permit applications were submitted last week for an $18.6 million building permit to construct a 5-story, 124-unit apartment building on the site of the abandoned YMCA at 2232-56 South Grand Blvd. Altus Properties is the developer and owner of the apartment project. HOK is the architect.

Previous iterations of the plan had included 116 units. The current plan now adds eight more units plus a masonry northern facade, which will be visible from Grand and from Compton Heights. Fiber cement board accents on the west-facing Grand facade are now masonry as well. The developer purchased the property for $1.8 million in January 2016 after an earlier proposal by First & Main Properties and TR,i Architects fell through. Parking will be on a surface lot in back.
