Ha, nice comment! Hopefully someone say the same thing about Campoli

Pittsburgh now with 11 straight wins... they look scary with the 2 best players in the world in Crosby and Malkin.

Crosby: 17 pts in 10 games (1.7 pts/game)
Malkin: 87 pts in 67 games (1.38 pts/game)

It's going to be almost impossible to beat them if these 2 stay healthy.

Still no regulation loss with Markov in the lineup...

Hopefully he stays healthy next year. If that's the case, we have a good chance of making the playoffs. Words cannot describe how important he is to this team!

It's fitting the Oilers and the Jackets pretty much killed the Flames playoff chances.

And I swear the Oilers blew their game against the Coyotes on purpose!

Got a buddys season tickets for the game, long time since I have not sat in the nosebleeds, was so nice. Too bad about the game, they were terrible in the first period, and then outshot the shit out of the jackets in the second, but could not finish. If they can't beat the worst team in the conference they don't have much chance 'if' they get to the playoffs.

Has the reffing in the whole league gone to shit or just when the oil play? Most inconsistent calls, who knows what's a penalty anymore

I'm glad to see the Flames back playing against teams they are in direct competition with for a playoff spot.

Year after year I see it, not just with the Flames but with other teams too....when there's pressure for wins in a playoff race, playing against a team that should be an easy win, usually doesn't equate. It often backfires.

Anyhow, last night's loss to the Jackets was just one of those games that didn't go well. The Flames out-chanced the Jackets 23-7, so it wasn't as if the opportunity wasn't there.

It's not just the Oil. Reffing this year league wide had been consistently inconsistent, and even during games, what goes in the 1st period might be called in 3rd...

I used to hate the refs of Mich Mcgoo and Kerry Fraser, but man I miss those guys now.

This time of year the teams at the bottom usually play well regardless of who's ion the lineup. Next year will be more of a test.

True but numbers don't lie... we're basically a 100 pts team with him in the lineup. A Markov-Subban (who has been playing extremely well since February, let's hope his sophomore slump is over) pair would be one of the best in the NHL.

It would be interesting to see what we can do with Markov in the lineup next season... if he actually stays healthy.

BTW-Congrats Urban_Genius for the win.

You mean Phaneuf and the imaginary defence mailed it in... I hope they lose the rest and teams like Carolina/MTL win the rest of their season.

Complete and utter domination. Ouch. Luckily I didn't watch - kinda had a feeling this would happen! Burkie and Carlyle sure have their work cut out for them

Whatever happened to "TheMan23" (or something like that)? The big Leaf fan who was confident Burke would turn it all around for the franchise.

I'd really like to get his opinion on the disaster that is the Toronto Maple Leafs.
