Can someone give an idea of how tall it will seem in comparison to other buildings? How tall is, say, Corazon apartments?

Corazon is only 60 feet tall, so this is going to be noticeably taller than that building. In fact, the only two buildings east of I-35 near there that are taller is the Riverview Apartments on Riverside which is 138 feet, and the RBJ Tower that is 155 feet.

There was a rendering showing that HEB as part of a mix used project but not sure if that is what they are actually planning on doing.

Wow--thanks for sharing that news clip. The part on CodeNEXT sure is depressing. Some people simply don't want new neighbors so they fight to keep their suburban living next to downtown. Sorry, future...

Yes but those people are being mislead too because our current codes are what is actually causing these multi condo houses built on tiny lots feet away from others property. With a comprehensive restructuring of zoning codes developers would have to follow stricter guidelines which they currently are able to find loopholes to bypass. I blame the wall of 2 story houses along my fence on our current mess of codes and the Neighborhood Association themselves.

So do we get an Amazon Go store instead? Hopefully there is some form of grocery there.

It could also became a regular Whole Foods. They had some smaller stores before they started the 365 Format. The Whole Foods in Detroit is only 20K sq. ft., and I think there is another store even smaller than that. But I don't recall the size of the Plaza Saltillo store.

Portland has a very small Whole Foods, which happened to be my favorite one. I really like small grocery stores.
