I admit that my iPhone replaced my previous Canon camera.
This is now the only portable camera I use.

Oh heck, I even made my own tripod mount with supplies from Home Depot.

BTW, I agree that pnapp1 did an outstanding job !!
It's outstanding photos like these that make this forum special.

iPhone 4s has a very capable camera. But I was pissed at myself for not having my Canon T3i with me.

BTW...Thanks Fish!

they are called diagonal braces. and spandrel beam i believe is another name for perimeter beam which is the outside beam.

Yes the spandrel beams are the perimeter beams you see on the parapet. Speaking of the parapet. Carlos can you take a close in shot of the roof area. THANKS

If base glass is going to be installed in October, why haven't they started to square the base off?

Delays again, i guess.

They have been doing a bunch of work as the base this past week, there are 4 or 5 lifts you can see on the cams.

We have no idea what is involved in squaring off the base, maybe it's going to be a simple steel type structure that will essentially block off access and come straight down from the corners. Something like that would not take long to install and we are still 7 weeks until the start of October so a lot could happen in that time.

Sorry if I didn't notice an explanation before, but why are the corners of the base no longer turned inward? Safety? Cost?
