Man I wish this tower was taller though, over 1,000 feet. Frustrating when they waste an awesome design on a non super tall.

It's hardly wasted--I wish many more of our buildings were well designed, including those half this tall.

The crown now has steel on the north end of the roof.

Starting to get a feel for how the crown will improve the various ground level views:

I've been a silent reader on these forums for some time, but I want to give a big "thank you" to botoxic for posting all these awesome pix on these SF tower projects.

Wow! There it is. The tower was already looking impressive, but just adding the crown really takes it to another level of awesome.

Indeed...and the spire along with its full cladding will add to it!

The color of the glass looks much better in the real photos than in the renderings as well. Plus, the Salesforce Tower is looking pretty good nearby. Can't wait for that lovely shade of blue to ascend to the top!

What appears to be the support beam for the spire is being set in place now and it's huge!

This is my favorite building of all time, but can we just accept that it will indeed one day be the home of Starfleet Communications.

it's just so perfect..and after that "big one" that extra brace will be added on no prob
