The way I do it is... I take the building height and divide it by how many floors the building has. That gives me floor height. Count the floors and you know your height. If there is a building in the way and you can't see the start of the building google map street view to count the floors of the building in your way, and start from there. I am a layout engineer on this job, we just finished erecting the 45th floor. When poured, we will be over 500 feet tall.

The reason for my comment is that when this reaches 512', I can get a comparison of how The Brooklyner would compare to 1 Hanson Pl. based on the pic prior to my comment.

Jeff 15D, I know there are different opinions on how height is determined. In your professional opinion, is the height of the Brooklyner -514', roof height or total overall height, including superstructure?

Can anyone state definitively, how the Brooklyner's height of 514'/515' is measured? Is it roof height or total height including superstructure? What is current height of this 388 Bridge St.?
