191 Peachree Tower Nighttime Lights

Can anyone tell me why 191 Peachtree tower is dark at night? Is it because the building is at less than 50% capacity? It really takes away from the nighttime skyline without it.

I thought after Deloitte signed on that the building was mostly occupied. That was a few years ago. I'm assuming they're still there.

Yeah, 191 is almost totally occupied at this point. I know it's over 95%.

Regardless of who's paying the power bill, they likely turn them off after normal business hours. Seems like a reasonable thing to do.

Seems reasonable to me, too. The power bill in these huge buildings must be enormous. I cannot begin to guestimate what it costs to illuminate a skyscraper at night.

I see turning them off after midnight like most of the skyscrapers do but it takes away from the skyline a lot at night. looks like a tall dark figure with four red lights at the top.

They were back on tonight. Probably just replacing the bulbs or doing yearly cleaning.
