Nice!

I'm always amazed at how much graffiti even the cleanest European city seems to have.

I visited Europe for the first time last spring. Of the cities that I visited Amsterdam was a standout for me, specifically the cycling culture. It was such a joy to get through dense urban areas on a bicycle with ease. It was the highlight of my trip. From what I've read Copenhagen has the best urban cycling infrastructure in the world, even surpassing Amsterdam, and that is largely why it tops my list for my next trip to Europe.

Bicycle capital of the world is Groningen, not Copenhagen: https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2...over-the-world

Great thread! Love the architecture.

Absolutely incredible city. It's changed a lot since I was last there in the 1980s.

I love the playfulness and simplicity.

^You captured the new "skyscrapers" at Orestad really well!

Have been to Copenhagen countless times but never visited the new district where you brother lives, think it's called Slusieholmen. Always had it in mind cause it's nice to see new areas but always end up in the historic city centre.

Nice pictures!

Is that area with the modern buildings all redeveloped, or are there some older buildings mixed in?

Thanks for the comments !

That modern area is mostly modern buildings. They are built on disused docks or on reclaimed lands.
