Man it's been too long since a Houston thread, I really appreciate it. The Southwest Fwy is my favorite in Houston (I take it to work to Greenbriar) because it really captures "mighty Houston" because you get an aesome view of Uptown, Greenway, TMC, and Downtown.

That's pretty cool how you have the ghosting of the cars but no streaking of the tail lights. Thanks for the wonderful photos!

I am in love with the new TMC skyline and the density of the area. I doubt Uptown and Downtown will be continuously connected by high rises. However, it seems inevitable that the land between the TMC and DT will become much more densely populated and urban than it is now.

Great photos as usual.

The photo of downtown in the low clouds and fog is one of my all time favorites. Nice job!

It's getting to be that time of year when living in Houston becomes enjoyable rather than day after day 'punishment'. I loved living in Houston from mid October to mid April when the temperatures generally avoided the 90s. It's been 2 years since I was last in the city. I miss all of the friends I made while living there. I need to get back for a visit very very very soon hopefully.

I still hear people from elsewhere assuming it's hot year round there, but after mid October it's mostly 70s/60s during the day, with a fair amount of days topping out in the 50s. Every now and then, it doesn't even get out of the 40s during the day. But then muggy spring and hot summer come around again....

For a sunbelt city it is so unique. I don't know whether to like it or love it, but it sure has so many great attributes. I was there in 2002 and definately liked it. I didn't get to explore many neighborhoods outside the downtown area, but even then the downtown was pretty damn nice. I would love to see the city today after so many positive things that have happened with transit, urbanism and stunning modern skyscraper growth.

Nice. I like the colors. The TMC skyline is getting huge.
