I love this perspective. Can't wait to see it completed from the same view and same sunlight angle.

yeah, I was having a hard enough time making it out.

Should rise pretty quick given it's very small footprint.

I agree. I can't wait to see the whole thing go up.

This is Toronto's answer to the absolute world in Mississauga.

Yes I agree...this is actually one of my favorite buildings going up in North America right now...I am surprised how little chatter I am hearing it!

There was a ton of interest initially. At one point it seemed destined for cancelation and then the 'boot' got chopped followed by a lengthy delay. Perhaps fatigue set in for the many admirers. I think people will come back around once this building begins to rise.

The disappointment over the boot feature is overblown. This is still a wonderful design.

Yes I think so too. Are they also going to be updating and renovating the Sony Center as well?
I am not from Toronto so could someone tell me what current use does the Sony Center offer?

It's a performing arts centre with capacity of 3,000 seats. Alicia Keys and Elvis Costello are 2 of the names booked in the next 2 months, but plays host to a very varied list of performers. There's also an art gallery in there. I believe the Sony Centre just finished major renovations to restore it to the elegance and grandeur of the original O’Keefe Centre.
