Extreme Makeover, Skyscraper Edition- One Indiana Square

Now, on this episode of Extreme Makeover, Skyscraper Edition:

One Indiana Square!

This skyscraper was mentioned in another thread here, because its facade suffered some severe damage in a storm, and ended up being completely replaced some time afterward. Let's have a look-see, shall we?

Before:

Aftermath of the storm damage, which eventually led to this skyscraper's extreme makeover:

And now, it's time for the big reveal! Here's the result of our Extreme Skyscraper Makeover!

So for everyone playing at home, what do you all think? Did you like it better before, or do you love its new look?

I have to admit, I like both. I liked its original look, the white elements of its facade and those decorative elements around the top few floors really gave it a distinguished appearance, providing a nice contrast to the black glass. I've also seen at least one pic of it at night, it appeared to have a band of blue neon up there, which was hella cool.

Its new look is very modern and sleek, with much lighter colors.
How might I have made it over? I might have kept those white elements of the old facade, only re-skinned them in something sleek, like mirror polished stainless steel. And I might have made those decorative elements rounded on their faces instead of flat, for a modern look. And I have to admit, I like that blue and silver glass used in the makeover, I'd have gone with that, to give the building a fresher, lighter look. I guess my makeover would have combined elements of both the old and new designs.
What would you have done with it?

It wasn't a bad looking building, before. I, too, like both versions of it, though, I think I like the strong vertical lines of the previous design for the building.

Very nicely done.
