Wal-Mart is underground so it's not really visible in the aerial shots.

According to my local paper, if I remember correctly, the Walmart Supercentre is having a grand opening event this coming Saturday at 11am.

Why does the title still say proposed?

The original poster has not updated it... Also considering the mall's name in the title is the prototype name of the 1 story mall they announced 3 years ago...
Definitely needs to be updated.

The name is "High Street Shopping Centre" and I am not sure what the status should be. Its opening on Saturday but it is a phased opening as some sections are still under construction. Could also add a square footage statistic or something. 600000 sq. ft.

I'll change the name and place it u/c for now then. The other projects don't list sqftage so we'll keep the titles standard. I can add the height in M and floor count if it's provided.

Similarly, Ivanhoe Cambridge is pursuing redevelopment of the Oakridge Shopping Centre, adding value to it through expanded retail space, high-density residential units and other uses, while Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) is partnering with Shape Properties Corp. in the transformation of Brentwood Town Centre, which they acquired in 2010.

HOOPP is also creating new assets, partnering with Shape on Highstreet, a 565,000-square-foot shopping complex at Mt. Lehman Road in Abbotsford, while Triovest Realty Advisors Inc. and PCI Group are developing Marine Gateway in Vancouver and King George Station in Surrey.

I am local and have been often, but mainly to the Walmart on the main level as I'm not a big mall person. All the pictures are of the upper level; these stores are all built on the roof. I've done the obligatory tour of most of them during Xmas shopping, and I've been to the theatre twice, once to the VIP section which was nice to experience but I'll save my Scene points for that. Looking forward to the pub finally opening, it's taking forever; it's in the last building to go up but Milestones is also in that building and they opened a couple of months ago.

Everything is clean and new, and it's fairly easy to navigate and walk. It's actually nice in that respect in that it's an outdoor mall without the distances normally involved.
