December in Boston: Happy Holidays edition!

Time for a trip around Boston over the course of the last month, ending with a big old celebration in Copley Square for New Years. This month I also learned I can take a decent night-time shot without a tripod, yay! Hopefully these pics can help take your mind off this frigid winter we're having

And now getting ready for New Years Eve "First Night" in Copley Square...

Happy New Years!!

And if you liked those, check out my November Thread and my September & October Thread for more colorful Boston pictures.

Fantastic set, love that you're sharing more often over on SSP!

There's so much residential mid-rise construction in the city right now, it's incredible. I saw a Globe article from a few days ago saying that for the first time since the mid 1960s, the Mass population growth rate exceeded the national average during 2012 and 2013, according to the new Census estimates. There was a net gain of 50,000 or so people to the state, and I am guessing a good chunk of that growth happened within Boston itself.

Outstanding tour! Awesome pictures of Boston! Thanks for sharing, kznyc2k.

I´ve loved to see Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, Boston Common, Public Garden...

You live in a really lovely city. I´ve enjoyed the snowy pictures, the roofs of Back Bay and Beacon Hill. I´ve so much good memories in Boston. I´m wishing to return there and see that pretty city again.

Looking forward for more photos of Boston from you...

Happy New Year and greetings from Madrid, Spain.
