Nice shots. Just a few more floors and I'll be able to see it from my office.

Once this area is complete, I think this area might have the highest population density in Manhattan. This is just a guess from looking at how many tall condo towers are being placed in such close proximity of each other.

Unlikely. It's nothing like the upper east side. Here it is from my office:

Hah! You got my building the pic. Unfortunately for me, my Hudson river view will be blocked by the upcoming projects, but then again I'll have a great view of the completed buildings
From today:

This building is flying now. I bet they'll start the cladding in the next few months...

People are going to be shocked in another few months when there are a dozen cranes up along the High Line. The amount of activity is mind-boggling. The only apt contemporary comparison I can think of is the NoMA neighborhood in DC, but the scale of development along the High Line is about to become immensely more massive as Hudson Yards kicks off.

I don't understand NY's fascination with brown brick. It makes the building look old and dated before it's even constructed.

New York needs way more glass towers to break up the decades of monotonous brown brick construction that dominates the landscape, or at least some other material that has a lighter color to add some contrast

JMO though...

This one is going up fast. I guess if I were moving in, that is how I would want it. I could then watch the Hudson Yards project from my window.

This building was designed by Robert Stern, so likely it will turn out nicely. As for the brown brick complaint, I don't necessarily disagree with you, however keep in mind you'll have 4 massive glass buildings being constructed directly to the north of this building. So a little bit of brick / variety may turn out nicely.

True, I just hope it doesn't look dark and dated like the renders suggest. Brown can look really modern and upscale on buildings, but it has to have a specific shade and quality to pull it off. Adding design elements to break up the continuous brick pattern doesn't hurt either.
