TN is apparently still going ahead with the food hall/grocery store part. That $2 million will come in handy.

Is this going to be something like Sunterra? (sort of like a mini safeway in mixed use or residential towers)

No it will really be like a Forks Market-style space – local food vendors in a shared licensed space.

A huge deal that made no economic sense, was there ever a business plan or just more hope and pray NDP planning, how would having the largest MLCC outlet in the province downtown have even been profitable. Adults are in charge now and it looks like another $2-3 M tax dollars to TNSE just to get out of a bad deal for everyone!

will the LC at the corner Donald+ Ellice still be closing once TNS opens?

if so are there any immediate plans for the space?

I can't imagine them closing Donald & Ellice, considering this will just be a replacement of the cityplace location, and not even much bigger. Donald & Ellice services the Exchange and Central Park areas, and more importantly is the main service location for central restaurants and bars. Servicing the hospitality clients from TNS would be a major logistical challenge without a parking lot or even a service door.

You can really see the difference between the undeveloped floors and the TDS Law floors. It's really looking great.

A couple from today along the Hargrave side. They put up about 1/3 to 1/2 of the cladding on the elevator core. Also still doing something in the sidewalk and roadway, more than just repaving. Seems they have some type of wall formed.

I haven't been in City Place the last while. Any sign of a skywalk coming through?

I love the orange – breaks up all the glass. Just when we thought we were getting away from monotone beige & concrete, we're getting monotone blue-tinted glass!!!!!

LOL jk... it's great.

Not as of lunch time today. As they are going into the old McDonald's storage area it won't take them long to take the hall wall facing the mall out when the time is right to connect to the real world.
