Hi all, im am curious how big is the CN intermodal yard in calgary?

The current one is fairly small, which is the reason for the new one out in Conrich. CN has purchased a total of 680 acres I believe. There is a map of it on the CN website.

Ground Broken at new Calgary Logistics Park

cn figures to have all construction completed by the end of this year and operational by early 2013. currently the land is levelled and graded. currently it looks like they are doing electrical and plumbing work. kinda hard to tell when you go by the site at 40 mph on a train

they are up and running ( in some form or fashion). There are certainly more trucks hauling containers on the east edge of the City.
