So what price per square foot does he want in Hamilton? Seems it will be in the 550 range - meaning I bedrooms at about 330,000 plus parking. I think he is over estimating how much demand there is in the city for units like this.

I just don't think the city's job base can support all these higher price condos, but for renters in a few years due you will be able to snag good deals.

I really don't like people keep bringing up how close Toronto is - it's an hour and 400/month go train ride away. With that much being spent on go train people can afford Toronto. These units will be for people living and working in the region.

Got an email today from the Lamb Team:

Hi David,
Thank you again for you're interest in Television City, this morning in my meeting with Brad Lamb I finally received the initial renderings and floor plan. The building looks great but unfortunately, our architects are a little behind in finalizing the floor plate. As such, we are not allowed to send out the preliminary floor plan and renderings digitally as to not leak these to the public.

You, having pre-registered are most welcome to these documents albeit in a one on one meeting. Otherwise the plans should be finalized by the 15th if you can wait that long and we can go from there.

Could be taller even at 40 stories. Possible roof elements, or just some high ceilings.

I did some rough math. The average floor height of Royal Connaught Phase III, 20/22 George, and The Connolly is 3.3m, versus Landmark Place's 2.9m floor height.

If Television City follows the average floor height of the modern developments, the heights will be 132m & 99m, without any roof elements.
