How many open blocks over 100,000 sqft are there though?

Not for the right tenant who cares about trophy office space. There is very little of that. And the UC buildings are also years from fruition. But, yes, they need that tenant. The location might hurt it. Need a bit of a pioneer, but West Market is only on the other side of City Hall, and East Market is starting to happen from a residential/retail perspective, so those things should help.

I actually want to see this happen to make the skyline grow, but I'd like to see more 600-800 footers rise.

I'm actually very excited about this project. I like the proposal and it will be great in that location. It will really help create a canyon effect on Market east if it comes to fruition. I wish it was going to be taller as well, but it's going to be a good height.

Could be absolutely nothing, but the Loopnet listing for this says it’s off-market, with a most recent update on the listing page on 6/18/18. It’s no longer listed on JLL’s site, either. Could just be removing the listing while the concept gets crystallized as I don’t see any new permits or anything, but one can hope...

Yeah, I looked at your link, and I'm assuming being that it's "off market" meaning it's not available and the property is spoken for. The concept of the building may have been taken down because they may be making changes, it was a preliminary design. Perhaps they are increasing the height and making it a 'supertall,' just wishful thinking.
